| i have met many interesting people everyday, some i have seen for several times already but actually talk to for the first time, other for the first time in general.
And those people are interesting because the conversation i overheard them participate or i actually initiate with them.
here are some of the interesting one :)
Biology teacher: man, octopus is really really smart animals, they can open locks and stuff and escape the aquarium! I think about them all the time... when i eat sushi. They are so smart, and delicious! I almost feel sorry for them!
Nike: Richard is so sad that he won't even talk on the phone anymore.
Eric Yen: that's so weird, when Yu-huan's sad, he talks on the phone all the time! the 1-900 numbers!*

Eric Yen: man, why white guys always get the asian girls in the media and real life?
me: *imitating Jay-Z rap* if she got inferior complex i feel bad for her son, she got 99 boyfriends and asian ain't one.
Eric Y.: i think you just pwn'd yourself.
Biology teacher: your arm's bone have radius and ulna, which provide the pivot joint, allow you to turn your palms *flip her palms to back side of the hand*
random student: WHOA! that's amazing!
After I hit my head on a ceiling pipe in an Asian burger place in Oakland, the Asian lady said to me with a very heavy accent:
You hurt becos you tall!
(I didn't think anyone actually talk like that, I thought american media just dramatize Asian stereotype)
Me: the Dark Knight is so awesome.
Dad: i don't like it.
Me: Whaaa... you are the biggest batman fan i know!
Dad: i think it's too dark, there's not enough blue and red and yellow.
Me: ...blue and red and yellow?
Dad: yea! like when batman punches, there's no "BAM!" or "POW!" with blue red and yellow color!
*this is my dad's batman, 1960's.
Eric Yen: i thought Harvey Dent was the Joker.
*I suppose that quote would sound more ridiculous if you had follow the batman plot like i did through animated series and comics. But here's Eric Yen's two cents on why he feels his misunderstading for Two Face as Joker is justified.
Biology Teacher: so they asked me if I can teach Sexual Education course, and i told them "just because i can drive, doesn't mean i can teach driver's ed"
Class: *laugh lightly.... awkward silence of realization... laugh even louder*
Biyan caught me watching Spectacular Spider-Man on CWkids and said "...How old are you?"
Going to motherland soon. It's always a treat to go back to where i grew up, and have a mix feeling of returning home and being a tourist at same time.
Oh, and i read Wanted, the comic, and it's nothing like the movie, it's much more distrubing.

| *Typed this on sunday night* tomorrow i have a calculus midterm...
that is why i am posting xanga entry now
sometime last week, as i walked out of my anthropology class, i look around the grassy field and university building, and i began to reflect on how far i have made it. I felt pretty proud of myself, i made it all the way to university, and not a bad one either! UC Davis.
Then i began to look back at my 1 and half quarters memory in college, it's great. I had more fun in this short time in college than i ever had in my last two years of high school.
talk is cheap, picture is worth a thousand words, so picture is thousand times cheaps.

this is our halloween, as you can see, i made my own custom. 
this is us eating the candy that we got from trick or treat at north Davis (rich part of Davis). 
this is me and my friends at a tennis party, even though none of us are part of the tennis team. 
this is after we played soccer in the rain. 
this is us studying on the lawn during a sunny day. 
and this is me and few of my friends celebrating my birthday around the campfire. to sum it up, it's pretty great here in Davis. I am passing all my class, so i am doing pretty well here.
Oh, and we had a sick techno party in our dorm instead of going to the lame winter semi-formal. kthxbye. | | |

college life is great.
Everyone is chill.
so is the weather, brrrr.
and apparently my jokes, brrrrrrrrrrr.
Since i am a freshman, i feel young again.
Everything is going great!
except i got rejected by a girl when i asked her to a dance
but at least that night's dinner was great, mmmmm food.
And food for thought:
if you are what you eat, then you are photon. Becuase grass "digest" photons for energy, therefore grass is what it eat, photon. cow eat grass, which is now considered as photon, and therefore become a photon too. we eat cows, so we are now photons too. Everything is photons! EVERYTHING!
everything except anti-matter of course. oh wait, no, they suck photons too, darn their intense gravity
oh yea, i been climbing buildings, seeing things from high place makes every trouble feels like they are nothing compare to the thigns that are more important in the universe. or maybe it's the lack of oxygen in the high place.
and with that said, i will leave xanga again until next time i feel like procrastinating again (oh lawd that shouldn't be long from now!).

| UC Davis for the win! This is apparently an annual event held at the last day of the school, where NorCal will go against SoCal and random spartan in the middle.

| Lately i been doing a lot of film project for school. At first i just thought it would be fun to be reconnect with my creative (debateable) side of me through media, but the compliments i receive for my overrated Chinese class video encouraged me to continue filming. Hence, AP stat video was born, which seems to be another success. This is the first time i ever worked with graphics (beside gun shot, which is way easier to do), so it may seems very noob like, but you know what else is noob like? your face. I am kidding, God created your face just the way He intended. Except you, Walter. My chemistry video almost got me in trouble, because gun in school equals trouble (what a great math equation). So i was told to put a disclaimer before the video. I do agree with the school officials that told me to reconsider about doing gun scene in school ground though. | | |
